Defensive driving is a diversion program, offered through the Walker County District Attorney’s Office. Our Defensive Driving Program is a simple, straight forward design model, allowing eligible offenders the opportunity to earn a dismissal of the traffic offense by completing an online educational course, which is intended to improve driving skills and ultimately, helps make public highways safer for all of us.
